Career Coaching
Supporting New Work Expert Dr. Anja Adler to successfully navigate her career change.
Anja supports individuals as well as self-organised groups, teams, and organisations to sharpen their vision and mission, build suitable structures and processes, reflect on their culture and communication, and realise their potential.
With both feet on the ground and her mind full of ideas, she looks curiously and confidently into the future. From over ten years of activism and professional practice, she has plenty of experience with New Work and self-organisation and a wide toolbox of methods. Anja is a visionary. She offers her sensitive perception to invite what has not yet been said or felt. In her applied research, she translates new and unknown things through language and images.
“We helped Dr. Anja Adler successfully navigate her career change and land a new position that allows her to create a big positive impact whilst prioritising her own and her family’s needs and well-being.”
— Lisa, Founder of The Good Change
Why Anja decided to collaborate with The Good Change
Prior to starting the coaching process with us, Anja had just quit her leadership position at an employment setting that was highly demanding, lacking flexibility and therefore made it hard for her to balance work and motherhood whilst looking out for her own well-being. She was ready for a change, but not quite sure yet, in which direction she wanted to move next. What she did know at the time was that she wanted a job that allowed her to create a great positive impact on the world and our society with all her skills and expertise whilst not having to compromise on her own and her family's needs.
We helped Anja by:
✦ Reconnecting with her personal needs and values
✦ Discovering how those can be translated into a work setting
✦ Developing a set of criteria that supports her during decision making processes in her career
✦ Strengthening her self-confidence by cultivating awareness on her ressources
✦ Developing her strengths and potential
✦ Exploring different impact-driven career paths
✦ Strengthening her self-positioning and defining her talking points
✦ Navigating the decision making process between employment, entrepreneurship and a mix of both
Outcomes of our work together
At the end of our coaching process Anja had the clarity, strengths and direction to confidently move on to her next career adventure. She joined Work4Germany as a Transformation Facilitator and New Work Expert in their fellowship program for introducing and implementing modern project work and new ways of working in the German federal ministries.
“As part of my coaching, I aimed to decide on the next career step I wanted to take: self-employment/startup, employment, or a hybrid model. As a mother, it was and is important for me to create flexible and needs-oriented structures in my life that support me and my family in the best possible way. With her diverse toolkit (strategic and mindful), her positive and warm nature, and clear communication, Lisa not only guided me to a decision but also unleashed a lot of self-confidence in me for the future. She even sent me the relevant job advertisement for my next professional opportunity. I am very grateful for the collaborative process and can wholeheartedly recommend her work, especially to other mothers, but also beyond!”
